Minutes of the Marden Community Plan Working Group Meeting

Min 70:  MINUTES of the meeting held on 16 November 2006 were agreed and signed as a true record. 

Min 71:  MATTERS ARISING: There were none 

Min.72:  DISCUSSION OF DRAFT PLAN: This was a wide ranging discussion commenced by asking to whom is it aimed? It was agreed that it was the principal ‘stakeholders’, i.e. the Parish Councillors and Sue Beer in the first instance. Specifically ask for comments that would be most useful to MCP Working Group. Comments should be invited from the three Borough Councillors and the County Councillor. After receipt of the responses, adjustments would be made to the Document. 

R Adam was joined by all present in his congratulations to the co-ordinator, Graham Tippen, for his production of the Pre-Draft Statement. Working Group members proposed minor adjustments to Groups A – B – C, which were agreed. 

APPENDICES: Listed as 1: TRANSPORT  -  2: ENVIRONMENT  -   3: COMMUNITY  -

4: ECONOMY. It was agreed that when the Document is sent to the Borough/County Councillors, it would be re-ordered to make it easier to assimilate. 

K Kershaw’s suggestion that Environment Para. 3 Local Energy should be moved from Group C to Group A was agreed.

 G Tippen will deal with all and move from pre-Draft Statement to Draft. He will ask that ALL comments should be with him by the end of March so that it will be on schedule for the MCP AGM on 19 April 2007.  

Min. 73:  NEXT MEETING: It was agreed that Working Group meetings now meet two monthly. The next will therefore be – Thursday 22 March 2007; Parish Councillors will be invited to attend.
