 Progress

Both Kate Kershaw (Environment) and Richard Adam (Transport and Accessibility) were on track to complete their respective workstream information by the deadline of September 20th.

Chris Gosling (Social and Community) has had to stand down due to pressures from other work and Graham had offered to complete this section.  He has met with Chris and picked up the paperwork; the deadline for this section should also be met.

Graham will also chase up Ian Balmer (Economy) to ensure progress here.

 Next steps

Assuming this progress is maintained, Graham thought that we should be close to having a first draft report ready by the end of December 2006. He outlined that as well as all the factual information the workstream groups had put together, the report would show proposed actions and priorities the working and management groups had identified that would go forward to the Parish Council and others.

Whilst the Community Plan group/ draft report would identify these priorities and actions, it would normally be the responsibility of others, whether Parish, Borough or County authority to take forward.  The Community Plan’s responsibilities would be to monitor and subsequently review progress; to act as a   focal point and facilitate discussion and to provide links or advice on sources of funding for individual projects.

 Finance

Chris Turner provided a comprehensive statement of our income and expenditure to date.

We have received an application form from our Borough Councillors for funding. Graham had completed this (for £1,000) and returned it Cllr Annabelle Blackmore.

We have heard nothing more from Rural Revival Grants, despite providing them with various additional information.  Graham will chase up.

Graham will also ask Joan Fewkes for a receipt for our £100 for the hire pf the Vestry Hall.

Chris will reimburse Sally O’Brien the £10.00 loan she made for the Hall hire for the initial meeting.
