Minutes of a meeting of the Management Group of the Marden Community Plan held on 1^st June 2006

Open events  

A pre-meeting had been held with Workstream members to ensure everything was prepared for the Open Events on the next 2 days. Questionnaires, posters and information materials have been produced and printed.  Those who can make it will set up the displays at 2.00 pm tomorrow afternoon 

The Scouts have replied that they will be unable to help with making refreshments or distributing flyers.

 Business event

 All the material for this was also prepared.  Responses from the business letter indicate an attendance of around 30 people in total and the caterers have been advised accordingly.

 Finance

 Graham has had a phone call from Loic Flory, KCC, that Paulina Stockell has awarded us £2,000 from the Member’s Grant fund, as originally stated.  The figure of £1,000 in his earlier letter was a ‘typo’.    The money should be sent shortly.

 Our Borough Councillors have still to provide details on their application process for funding.

 Graham has also obtained details of Rural Revival Grants, another KCC backed initiative, and will be completing an application form for £2,000 to assist in the costs of completing or initial plan.
